It’s a simple and functional solution for 4x4 travellers heading out on a camping trip, a weekend off-road adventure, or a longer overlanding expedition.
Everything You Need to Mount a Canister.
The Mini Wheel Expedition kit consists of three components designed to work together:
- spare wheel accessory mount,
- universal canister mount,
- 35 mm securing strap with a detachable buckle,
- 17 L SimplyCan water canister with a tap.
Together, they form a complete system for mounting a jerry can next to your vehicle’s spare wheel.

• Lightweight and easy canister mount – a lightweight aluminium canister bracket attaches to the main mount. It is designed to carry 10, 15 or 20-litre jerry cans. This is particularly convenient on longer trips – the canister does not take up valuable cargo space, while remaining quick and easy to access. The mounting bracket features a grid of holes, allowing you to adjust its position to suit your vehicle configuration and other equipment.
• Heavy-duty securing strap – the kit includes a 35 mm wide strap with a detachable buckle, designed to securely hold your equipment in place. It helps minimise load movement while driving, while the detachable buckle makes it easy to tension and adjust the mounting system. Once the buckle is removed, access to the release mechanism is additionally restricted.
